Burger Brawl Season kicks off at 94WIP.
It’s Official! Angelo Cataldi and the 94WIP Sports Talk Morning Team launched Philly Burger Brawl season. The 2018 Philly Burger Brawl will take place on Sunday, June 3rd at Xfinity Live! from 2 – 6pm. Philly Burger Brawl is an annual event bringing together some of the region’s best to compete in the categories of Best Burger, Taco Takedown, and Cut-throat Cocktail. This year marks the eighth year for this competition with all proceeds funding projects that increase literacy through technology for students in the School District of Philadelphia.
To delight the appetite of Angelo and the WIP Team, Rob Wasserman brought his Rouge Burger and our friends at Village Whiskey brought the 2017 Burger Brawl Winner for everyone to enjoy. Village Whiskey’s burger, ‘The Frenchy’, is a great representation of the culinary creations that duke it out at Burger Brawl. The Frenchy is a fresh ground blend with gruyere cheese, grilled red onion, black truffle aioli, and sauce au poive.
